Tobias Bergson Launches Dynamic New Single ‘Trust’ with PLAYY. Records

Tobias Bergson has released his new single ‘Trust’ today, the 26th of June 2026 through PLAYY. Records. The Austrian producer and DJ began working with music at 17 by exploring programming and production on his computer. He makes emotive tracks that combine the lift of the dancefloor with more personal feelings, using intricate melodies to build a melancholic but familiar mood. His music has now passed 180 million streams overall and earned support from Don Diablo, Lost Frequencies and Steve Aoki. His previous releases have come out on Armada and Universal Music Austria, he has performed at the Spring Festival in Austria, and his tracks have featured on Spotify editorial playlists. He has also gained attention from DJ Mag, 1001 Tracklists, Mixmag Germany and Netherlands, YourEDM and House Music With Love, and received plays on CBC Music’s Afterdark, KCRW’s Metropolis and RTÉ 2FM.

The single relies on a bouncy arpeggiated bassline above a minimal four-on-the-floor beat. It begins in a brooding deep house mode and then moves toward a spacey, more danceable direction as synth layers and additional textures build throughout. This structure shows Bergson’s skill in expressing his own emotions and experiences through sound, influenced by the style of Deadmau5, Ben Böhmer, Rampa and Chris Malinchak. The style pulls from deep house, techno, progressive and lounge music to create something that feels both club-ready and introspective. With several releases already this year, ‘Trust‘ is expected to draw in listeners who enjoy the sound of Robert Miles, Lane 8 and Solomun.

Tobias Bergson shared: “I produced ‘Trust‘ last summer during a period when I was heavily influenced by Stephan Bodzin. I think it turned out to be a beautiful and melodic techno track, possibly also fitting for one or another DJ within these two genres.
