Deep Forest has released his remix of Seth Tabatznik’s ‘Shining For Love’ today via MOTH Music (Mother of The Heart). The duo first gained global attention with the iconic ‘Sweet Lullaby’, which earned gold and multi-platinum certifications in the US, UK, Japan, Germany, France and Australia. They won the Grammy for their album Boheme in 1995 as the first French act to achieve the award, a distinction shared with Daft Punk. Led by Eric Mouquet, Deep Forest fuses electronic music with global sonic traditions, weaving ethnic vocal recordings, immersive ambient textures and rhythmic electronic elements into rich, culture-bridging soundscapes.
The remix opens with a contemplative pan flute melody layered over Seth Tabatznik’s emotive vocal delivery to set an intimate sense of anticipation. Seth Tabatznik now resides in South Africa’s Western Cape after being raised in London. His acoustic folk blends ancient wisdom with modern sound, shaped by mentorship from Nick Mulvey and guidance from guitar teacher Rainer Scheurenbrand. The soulful, earth-reverent compositions draw from spiritual exploration and lived experience.
