A self-taught DJ and producer since 2009, Nitefreak has become a trailblazer in Afro House and Afro-Progressive House, crafting a sound that resonates far beyond his home country. His remix of Magic System’s “Premier Gaou” with Francis Mercier struck gold in France, a testament to his global influence. ‘Negra Soy’ bursts to life with electrifying energy, fusing bold vocals with a relentless Afro House groove, striking synths and a thick, pulsing bassline. Throughout its three and a half minutes, the track artfully strips back and rebuilds its layers, letting the music breathe and evolve. Nitefreak is set to headline Amajoyo presents Afroholic ADE on Friday 23 October at Soulkitchen Amsterdam, with doors open from 23:30 to 05:00. This event celebrates the vibrant connection between African and European electronic music as Amsterdam Dance Event marks its 30th anniversary. Joining Nitefreak on the lineup are Amajoyo, the Afro House, Afro Tech and Melodic House brand and label founded by Dutch DJ and producer De La Noise, as well as De La Noise, Wilson Kentura, Thami The Unknown, Elson Soares, Randoree and Marinus.
