‘Step To The Floor’, the new collaboration from Dallas-based Dansyn and Brazilian producer Voltech, is out now on Tomorrowland Music and 1001 Recordings. With Canadian roots and a Dallas home base, Dansyn has found a lane in the current wave of house music through hooks, tight percussion, and heavyweight basslines with a raw club edge.
In 2026, releases on John Summit’s Experts Only, Insomniac, and MEDUZA’s Aeterna kept the project moving, backed by DJ support and recognition from 1001Tracklists’ The Future of Dance. The catalogue is growing and the shows have gotten bigger. Voltech has built a run across Spinnin’ Records, Repopulate Mars, and CONTROVERSIA, earning plays from FISHER, Cloonee, Alok, and Vintage Culture. A long-time follower of Dansyn from the DLMT years, he brought the same dancefloor-first instinct to a pairing that came together without much friction.
The record centers on a vocal hook with a physical pull, wrapped in a dark driving groove and locked by a sharp saw lead. Simple and direct, it is easy to read on a dancefloor, which is the kind of cut both artists set out to make. Dansyn has been testing ‘Step To The Floor’ in his sets for months, watching rooms react before crowds knew the title.
