DJ Saint M. Seagull’s Enigmatic New Track ‘Hallelujah’, Is Out Now

DJ Saint M. Seagull emerges once more with the two-track release ‘Hallelujah’, arriving 31 July, and deepens the enigmatic producer’s journey through spiritual and progressive house. Cloaked in mystery and performing in a monk’s robe, Saint M. Seagull has already captivated listeners with melodic singles ‘Pray’ and ‘Confession’, both alive with gospel-infused vocals and intentional, stirring drops. With ‘Hallelujah’, the artist crafts, produces, and remixes every detail, highlighting a relentless pursuit of originality.

At the heart of the original track is a melody inspired by the traditional musical formula sung to the word “Hallelujah.” Rather than sampling an existing recording, DJ Saint M. Seagull recreated the motif on an electronic organ, then manipulated it with acceleration and processing, transforming its liturgical origins into something subtle yet recognisable.

The track unfolds like a spiritual ceremony. A sermon-like spoken introduction ushers listeners in, then waves of organ, strings, and choral voices rise and intertwine, culminating in a dramatic finale that channels the majesty of sacred ritual and the euphoric release of a festival’s final crescendo.

The accompanying Enigmatic Techno Remix takes a bold detour, dismantling the original and rebuilding it into a wholly unique sonic journey, far removed from a typical club edit.

Drawing inspiration from early-2000s progressive house and the moody atmospheres of the Global Underground era, the remix weaves hypnotic repetition, sweeping transitions, and steadily mounting tension. Echoes of the original melody surface throughout, now cast in a shadowy, immersive soundscape.
