Perpetual Returns to Motion for 2019, showcasing the most respected Music DJ’s Charlotte De Witte, DVS1, Bicep and Sasha for this instalment of the series

Following stand out shows from the likes of Dixon, Daniel Avery and Maceo Plex last year, Bristol’s illusive house and techno series, Perpetual, returns to Motion for 2019. With a reputation for showcasing some of the most exciting and respected names across the house and techno spectrum, this year will be no different with Perpetual recruiting heavy hitters Charlotte de Witte, DVS1, Bicep (DJ Set) and Sasha for this instalment of the series.

Perpetual prides itself on being a platform for these DJs to play extended sets, allowing them to dig deep into their crates without the time constraints they often face, providing fans a rare glimpse into their musical arsenal.

DJ of the moment Charlotte de Witte heads up the series on 15th March, bringing her own unique brand of headstrong techno to Perpetual. The Belgian DJ has seen a meteoric rise to fame over the last 4 years with the likes of Essential Mix debuts and Mixmag covers under her belt – her Bristol debut will certainly live up to the hype. Croydon stalwart James Ruskin also joins to ensure the night goes off with a bang.

The 12th April will see American techno producer DVS1 join the Perpetual line up. Having headlined numerous international festivals such as Decibel and Dekmantel, the Berghain resident will without a doubt be bringing a sonic wealth of tunes for his 4 hour set, which will see Stephanie Sykes supporting.

Next up and needing no introduction are Bicep, set to play for Perpetual on 18th April. Having finished 2018 with a tour of their sold out live show the duo are coming into 2019 stronger than ever. Their extended, 3 hour DJ set will give fans a rare chance to hear what the Irish producers have lurking in their record bags, expect plenty of surprises. Kornel Kovacs joins on support duties.

Last but by no means least is legendary DJ and producer Sasha, bringing his inimitable styles to Perpetual on 11th May. Flanked by some very special guests to be announced soon, the Grammy award nominee is recognised as one of the most innovative icons of the electronic music scene and his return to Motion for this special date will no doubt cement that further.
