Under La Californie Musique, Florian Picasso, the great-grandson of the renowned artist Pablo Picasso shared his brand new single ‘Ay Papi’ on the 20th of January. Pablo revels in recognition from notable industry publications along with EDM.com, Dancing Astronaut and We Rave You, just to mention a few, and creates music that is akin to the sounds of Tchami and Malaa.

The synths in ‘Ay Papi’ is placed in the back-space of its beats creating a vibrant element in the song like two lovers engrossed in a passionate exchange of romantic words. The exuberant synths at times approach the forefront of the sound delivery, however, they remain in the background, henceforth, this variation in the sonic levels of the synths results in the creation of a track that is constantly in motion adding to its hypnotic energy.
Florian discusses the vision for ‘Ay Papi’: “This track is the genesis of a new era for me. It was a fun process trying to blend older sounds of mine with the new « Picasso sounds » I envision. Moreover I really tried to produce a fun record to transition from the old to the new me”.
